Inspector Handheld
Digital Radiation Alert® Detector
Now with an adjustable alert, the Inspector+
is a small, handheld, microprocessor-based instrument which offers
excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma,
and x-rays. The digital readout is displayed with a red count light
and a beeper sounds with each count detected. Other features include
an adjustable timer, external calibration controls and selectable
alert.
Inspector EXP+ Handheld Digital Radiation Alert® Detector
The Inspector EXP was designed to meet the requirements of emergency
response personnel. It has the same valuable features, small size,
and quality of the Inspector. However, instead of the built-in
detector, it has the added versatility of an external probe. The
carrying case has a clear window panel providing full view of the
readout, count light, access to the switches, and a convenient belt
loop for carrying the instrument. A small pocket is provided for a
check source. The protective probe cover on the uniquely designed
carrying case folds easily out of the way to allow one-handed
operation if desired.

RAP-RS1 Probe - External Halogen-quenched, uncompensated GM tube
with thin mica window, 1.4-2.0 mg/cm2 areal density. Effective
diameter of window is 45 mm (1.75 in.). Radiation symbol on front
label marks the center of the detector.
Replacement RAP-RS1 Probe and or cable also available.
Inspector WipeTest Plate / Beta Shield
The
stainless steel WipeTest Plate slides easily onto the Inspector+
positioning the depression and wipe directly in front of the GM tube
window at a fixed distance of 1 centimeter. The WipeTest plate is
removable for general surveying or decontamination. It can also be
used for protecting the GM from damage and the instrument from being
contaminated while the Inspector is not in use. (patent #5,936,246)
Many of the customers using The Inspector Wipe Test Plate also use
it as a Beta Shield for the 2 inch GM detector.

Extreme Boot for Inspector, Digilert
The
Xtreme boot offers maximum performance in a lightweight rugged
solution for using Radiation Alert® products in the
field. The Xtreme boot is designed specifically for individuals
operating in tough environments, such as, 1st Responders, Mining and
HAZMAT crews. Made of a RoHS compliant TPE rubber, the case also
offers superior grip and drop protection. The boot has a matte black
finish identical to the enclosure of the instrument for a seamless
look, while giving the user complete access to the unit's operation.
When using a pancake detector, a protective door opens on the back
of the case exposing the GM end window. The unit can be stood on end
for hands free monitoring of an area. The Xtreme boot is designed
for use with the Inspector, Inspector+, Digilert 50 and
Digilert 100 handheld radiation detectors.
Instrument Stand for Inspector, Digilert, and Geiger Models
For use with the Inspector, Digilert, and Geiger Models.
Whether you need to perform area monitoring or scan your hands and
items for contamination, the STAND offers a convenient way for the
instrument to STAND vertically while leaving your hands free for
other tasks. The STAND is made from electro-polished stainless
steel. Double stick adhesive strips are included to mount the STAND
in a permanent location.
The STAND fits in the carrying case with the instrument.
The Sentry
EC
- Personal Alarming
Dosimeter and Rate Meter
y
x
The Radiation Alert® Sentry EC is a Personal Alarming Dosimeter /
Ratemeter designed to ensure the safety of personnel that work in
occupations with potential x-ray or gamma exposure.
The pocket sized unit has built in memory for recording data points
for tracking accumulated exposure. The SentryCom Software option
enables you to generate incident reconstruction for analysis. The
software also permits you to easily set the vibrating and audio
alert to your desired levels for dose and dose rate.
Use the audio switch to choose between audible clicks or a discreet
silent mode that can be augmented with the use of headphones.
SentryCom Software -
for Sentry Dosimeter and Rate Meter
Sentry Com Software enables you to set the values for dose and dose rate alarms and warnings, set the Cal Factor, and the data logging frequency. It also allows the user to download the accumulated dose data, which includes time and date stamp, exposure, and power cycle identifiers (shows all zeros for data point when unit is turned off and on) for analysis.
Extreme Protective Boot for Sentry
The Xtreme boot offers maximum performance in a lightweight rugged
solution for using the Radiation Alert® Sentry in rugged conditions.
The Xtreme boot is designed specifically for individuals operating
in tough environments, such as, Radiologists, 1st Responders, Mining

The
advanced PEN direct reading dosimeters are rugged, precision
instruments. They measure and directly read, at any time,
accumulated dose (quantity of gamma and x-ray exposure). PEN
dosimeters are designed to satisfy military specifications for the
RADIAC METER IM-264/PD and ANSI N 13.5 and N322 requirements. A
sturdy metal clip attaches the dosimeter to a pocket or any object
to monitor total radiation exposure. They are hermetically sealed
and immersion proof.
